The Shotgun is a weapon found in several Army Men games.
Sarge's Heroes[]
In Army Men: Sarge's Heroes and Army Men: Sarge's Heroes 2, the shotgun can be picked up and used by Sarge. It is more deadly than the regular M-16 up close, but becomes less efficient at long distances. Tan Soldiers will also use this weapon against the player, but their AI does not distinguish between the range of the shotgun and the M-16, resulting in them standing a considerable distance away from Sarge and making futile attempts to hit him with their woefully inaccurate weapon.
